| I founded Linn-Moore, LLC in 2008 after a career as a Detective with the Connecticut State Police. Based in and serving eastern Connecticut, it is a private company that specializes in providing personalized investigative services to the area's business and institutional communities. Pre-employment background reports and loss/fraud investigations are its speciality. The company is fully bonded and insured and holds a Corporate Private Investigation License (#A-2448) issued by the Connecticut Department of Public Safety. It is also a member of the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce. Providing background reports, not just background "checks" is what sets Linn-Moore apart from most representatives of the background screening industry. With most "national" background checking companies you pay for a "data dump" culled in a few seconds from massive public databases and delivered to you without anyone ever looking at what it says or means, leaving it up to the purchaser to decipher. At Linn-Moore, the process begins with selective data queries that are pertinent to your needs. We then add to that any additional information obtained from cross-referenced data sources or other sources such as news and social media archives. All information gathered is verified to the greatest extent possible and then analyzed, interpreted and then explained to you in the form of an easily to understand written report. The resulting report contains all the actionable information you need to make an informed decision.
